I have such a bad case of black heads on my nose that it has become a common facial feature, I use the proactiv solution for acne treatment and it seems to work somewhat but never makes it go away just reduces it, what is a good way to get rid of them?!

My doctor prescribed monodox 75mg and differin 0.3 and he wants me to take it for 2 years. I’m 15 and my acne is quite severe. Is there any other treatment besides taking these medications for 1-2 years? If I have to take them:
1. how should I take them?
2. Are there any serious side effects?
3. Any other tips?

causes my body to produce more oil on my face, which means that there is dead skin cells clogging my skin pores, How can I still tan, and get rid of the dead cells?

I use Murad Acne Complex treatment, but I don’t know if that helps or not.(with the oil on my face.)

I have a thing from Proactiv and it is the stuff with the minny beads or whatever they are called and I wonder if that would work?

I’ve used proactiv, skinID, and many other treatments. My acne just keeps coming back, and it’s really bad. I’m using skinID right now and its not even working well. My skin’s rather untoned and I break out a lot. I’ve used witch hazel also to tone my skin and it kind of sucks. Any acne treatments I should buy that you recommend, treatments that make my skin look healthier and more radiant, or just tips on how to prevent acne from spreading and getting worse? I use foundation on a daily basis.

I’m 47 and am on mental health meds, which cause acne. The amoxicillin that my dermatoligist prescribed got rid of the back acne (bacne). However, there were small amounts of acne-like spots on my forehead area. My dermatoligist treated them with some sort of device that shocked the acne and he said to leave it alone, these small acnes – some were like little warts that won’t go away with benzoyl peroxide. He said in a few days the treated areas will peel. Has anyone had this treatment? What exactly is it called? The small acnes on my forehead were stubborn so he said these treatments would help. I had no acne when in my twenties and was young but have it now from the meds…

Does moustrizer [sp] do anything to help?

Ok so I’ve had acne ever since 7th grade but I started having major acne in 9th grade on both of my cheeks. THe thing with my skin is that whenever I get acne it will leave a scar no matter what and the scar is red!!! I’ve gone to the dermatolagist and I take pills and use benzyl peroxide but I still continue to have acne. Do you guys have any home remedies to helpp acne?

Obviously there is no cure for clearer skin, but what is most effective out of Medicines (creams, pills etc..) or Homeopathy?
It seems that natural medicines might work better, but do stubborn spots need stronger chemicals from man-made medicines?
