I am going to go crazy. I am 26 and just in the last couple months I have been curesed with acne. I had acne as a teenager, but not as bad as I have now all of a sudden! My teenager acne cleared up when I was about 21. Then nothing until now! I wash my face every day, and if I put makeup on I wash my face at night to get the makeup off. I also use acne treatment gel. Not only do I look like He*l .. they hurt pretty bad too! I also have a lot of white and black heads along with the big old juicy pimples. WHAT is going on? I used to get maybe 1 pimple before my period.. but this is crazy and like I said I have had this now for a while. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
No. No new meds. Not pregnant either .. just had a pregnancy test done when I went to the OB for something.

I am a 27 year old male, and I had severe acne starting age age 15. Facial acne isn’t really too bad, but I have very consistent cystic acne on my neck, back, ass, thighs, and chest. For accutane users, what has your post-accutane experience been like? I am sure that it cures acne while you are on it, but I don’t want to go through the hassle of the treatment program if within 6 months it was like I was never on it. Also, any tips on dealing with it?

the dermatologist prescribed antibiotics for 1 month, differin, and hydrocortisone. this has helped 50%. i finished the antibiotic about 2 weeks ago. i seem to be stuck with the rest. it’s only on my face.

i am using clean &clear advantage quick clear treatment wash and its moisturizer also but it seems not working .Will someone help me i want clear skin but now my skin seems dull and dead.

What treatment works for you?

I am 31 and I have tried everything out there, including:

ProActiv; made my face dry and itchy and bleached my towels and sheets. No beneficial effects.

Most otc products including Neutrogena, Clearasil, Oil of Olay, Clean & Clear, Acne Cure, and more. No effect.

Antibiotics; worthless.

I’m a 32 yr old mom of two.I still have acne! I began having acne at 11 yrs old & it wont leave me alone! besides going to a dermatologist or getting prescription medicine what is the best way/treatment to calm it down and get it gone for good?
