So embarrassing but I have body acne, not bad, but I get pimples on my shoulders, chest, back, upper thighs and butt. Does anyone know a good treatment? I know proactiv is good, but I don’t know if it works for the body. And I don’t want to spend that kind of money for something I haven’t heard of and don’t know if it works or not.

k..before you say “buy proactiv” you have to realize, i have tried that, and every other thing. i have a dr.’s prescription, but i am out, and can’t get a new one for a month. My face has gotten ALOT worse, and i was wondering if any of you out there had some free, home-remedies for my acne. i just want to help prevent, and possibly clear up my acne until i get my prescription. i am 14, and very embarrassed by my face right now.

I’ve been using proactiv and it’s cleared up my skin except my chin. my chin has broken very bad and i’m wondering if its a reaction to proactiv but i don’t understand why my whole face wouldn’t react. i’m wondering if there are any natural cleansing remedies that might help my chin because i know the chin area can get a lot of germs because of the mouth and it can have a hormonal imbalance but i don’t want to take birth control because of the side effects. I’m switching my diet around to see if that will help but I just want to know if there is anything to help keep that area clean and to take away the pimples.

Im 25 years old and I finished my Roaccutane treatment just over a year ago. The side effects weren’t pleasant, but completely worth it as the results were phenomenal, you’d never have known I’d had acne.
However, over the last couple of months I started getting pimples, quite often and slowly they are developing into those dreaded lumps deep under the skin, which take weeks to surface and just kinda linger there. They don’t just look unpleasant but they also hurt a lot. At first I wasn’t worried too much, but as they are getting more severe I’m getting nervous because I know my body and my skin and I know the acne is returning. Has anyone else’s acne returned after taking roaccutane? And what did you do?
