And I don’t know if it’s because I have been drinking alcohol or not, but it will not clot and close up for some reason.

I have cystic acne and this one seems like it was 2 in 1 and I messed with it for a while and now it will not clot. Yes, I know I should not mess with my bumps, but if you had the type of acne I have how could you not??? I mean these things hurt when I move my face on my pillow when I sleep and even wakes me up. My dermatologist has suggested treatment, but I cannot afford it so I continue to do the worst and touch my face continually, unfortunately.

Is there anything I can do other than holding a tissue to put pressure on my face? I would really appreciate some answers.

I went to a medi spa last year and had laser tretaments done. These treatments didn’t do a thinkg for the pock marks. what a waste of money.

So being EXTREMELY depressed aboout my appearance and not dating because I am scared of rejection, I went to a plastic surgeon. He thinks dermabrasion may help. But he said it is hard to guess at what the results will be like. he said if I decide to do the dermabrasion, I should take 3 weeks, preferably 4 weeks, off from school/work, avoid sun, etc to allow my skin to heal properely.

I want to do it if there is a chance it will help, but I am so fed up with spending so much $$ on stuff, only to be let down. If I get this done, not only will it cost a lot of money to get it done, but the time off from work is going to cost me as well.

I’ve been very good about keeping my black and whiteheads at bay, but I’m always plagued by a few deep nodules. I don’t have the ability to afford prescription drugs, so I’m curious if there is any other methods of over-the-counter treatment.

I am 20 years old, and this last two years I have had the most intolerable acne. I’ve seen a doctor and dermatolgist, but the creams and antibiotics would make it worse. I never stayed with a treatment for more then 3 weeks because they would get worse (I know some are supposed to get worse before getting better) but I could not bear to see it. I feel huge pockets of stuff under my skin, especially on my forehead. I try and fight the urge to pop them but sometimes I breakdown something in my mind takes over cause I need it out of my skin, and I end up taing a war to my face and making it ten times worse.
I am a intelligent, attractive guy otherwise, but I cannot function with this crap in my skin. I have changed my diet, consume vegetables leafy greens and fruit everyday.
One thing I can’t escape is my job. I work at a car dealership in texas and sweat profusely, I counter this with rinsing my face with cool water and drinking 4 5 and even 6 water bottles daily.
I have heard that acne is the result of too many toxins in the body that the body can’t get to all of it and it shows up in skin. To me it makes sense because the skin is an organ and something must be wrong, but then I always hear it’s just too much sebum or oil production, or a specific bacteria.
I’m feeling like nobody knows for sure and I’m going to have a deformed scarred face before I’m done. I;m so bummer about it I can’t even “perform” when I’m with girls because I know I can’t be as confident around their bodies with my face, I can just imagine them feeling my bumps between their legs…I know i know I;m tripping.
I guess I;m asking if anyone has felt like this and found a real bonafide web information source or a good dermatoligist in the dallas fort worth area to help them. I search the web and get bogus creams and these so called professional websites that all advertise for these same creams. Proactive worked but my skin got dry dry dry .
What can I do or go? HELP!
Also, I have heard amazing things about accutane and my dermatoligst (which I think did not like me so I’m switching I guess if i can afford a new one) said he saw no trouble with it in his 15 years, but I have heard from people online who have lost their hair, got permanant organ damge, I am borderline to afraid to mess with it. Would be truly ironic to have great skin and no hair and a shot liver…

i have cystic acne on my fore head and on both sides of my face (specifically the corner of my jaw, below my ear)

it is so ANNOYING

i wash my face twice a day, religiously, sometimes i’ll skip a wash to give my face a break, it won’t go away.

i use the neutrogena grapefruit wash, the neutrogena acne control set, and i even have that vibrating neutrogena wave!

I get really weird acne! Sometimes I get blackheads or surface pimples, and those I’m not to worried about. But sometimes I get these hard bumps that feel like they’re way under the skin, and after a few days you can see dark blue/purple pools of liquid under the surface of my skin where the bumps where. I can’t pop them usually with my fingers so I poke them with a pin to let the blood drain. Sorry if this is gross, but its like dark blood with a bit of puss particles in it but it’s mostly blood. And if I can’t pop it it usually goes away but it takes usually a month, sometimes less, sometimes more. And then it just fades away. This is weird… I think it might be cystic acne, but why is it so much blood and hardly any pus? Any good treatments for this?

I don’t have acne, but every once and a while I’ll get a pimple that’s just FREAKIN HUGE! Not only is it embarrassing but it’s painful and it won’t come to a head because it always stays under the skin so I can’t drain it to reduce swelling. Plus it scars my face and nothing I have tried such as benzoyle peroxide or salicylic acid works. I even try compressing it…and nothing. Please help. Thank you.

can some one tell me some products that they may have used that helpd or even cured there cystic acne, and plz do not answer go to the dermintalogist ive been and they have put me on accutane, i have to say its working okay so far ive only been on it for a little over a month, and also plz dont mention laser treatment, im only 16 and my family isnt rich so.. ya. oh also can some one tell me any products they mite have used to get rid of acne scars, like the pink marks that just sit there on your face and taunt u every time u get stared at or every time u lookin in the mirror. any ways thanks

I started having acne on my nose back in 03 and since then its been a nightmare. I just assumed it was reg acne at 1st but then it started getting worse, just fig’d out that its cystic acne last week. I never have them anywhere else around my face but my nose. It comes up like boils and clears up sometimes but now I have like permanent little ones that sometimes increases. I’ve tried antibiotics, birth control pills and a few prescription topical creams but nothing has cleared it up so far. Whenever I start a treatment it looks like it works at 1st but then the acne gets immune and just comes out again. I really need help its been 6yrs now and my dermatologists have not been of great help so far. Thnx
