I am a bit hesitant about this as I know tomatoes can stain and the whole procedure could be quite messy. But, the natural bleaching properties of tomatoes and the antioxidants in cucumbers are believed to be great remedies to scarring caused by acne. The vitamin A in tomatoes is also believed to lessen the production of sebum and therefore prevent any acne breakouts too.Honey is not only a healthy sweetener, it is also a good acne scar remedy. Slather honey onto your face and leave it for about twenty to thirty minutes. After rinsing it off with water, you are supposed to feel a difference in the texture of your skin and in the appearance of scars. The honey serves to instantly moisturize your skin and give you a healthy glow. I might just try this home remedy one of these days. There are also some all-natural facial care products that are specially formulated with honey.A paste made of fenugreek leaves is also one of the more popular home remedies for acne scars. Just pound a handful of fenugreek leaves into paste and apply it to your face. After ten to fifteen minutes, rinse it off with water. Aside from reversing discoloration and scarring, the mixture is believed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and to help the skin regenerate.
